Oakton author series Feb. 28 to focus on winning the web

Author Andy Crestodina will show how to create a website that draws visitors and converts leads, during free public Oakton Community College Business Book Author Series event, "Content Marketing Chemistry: How to Win on the Web."

The presentation takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in Room 1610 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.

Crestodina, author of "Content Chemistry: The Illustrated Handbook for Content Marketing," will provide insights into the psychology of web visitors and provide new ideas on which website changes can have the most impact. The co-founder of the Chicago-based, award-winning web design company Orbit Media has provided web strategy, advice and web development to more than 1,000 businesses over the past 16 years.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with Crestodina and Oakton business faculty and department chairs from 6 to 6:30 p.m. After Crestodina's presentation, the author will hold a Q&A session, followed by a book signing. To register, visit https://contentmarketingchemistry.eventbrite.com.
