Two Elk Grove companies relocate to Wood Dale

Two Elk Grove Village businesses are relocating to a redeveloped facility off Route 390 in Wood Dale, according to city officials.

Caesarstone USA and Heidolph NA will both lease space at 1235 N. Mittel Blvd. in Wood Dale. Wood Dale officials worked with Hamilton Partners to redevelop the former office building into an 81,430 square foot industrial building.

Caesarstone Ltd., founded in 1987, is a pioneer in the natural quartz surfaces market. The Israel-based company, which has manufacturing plants in Israel and Georgia, will operate its Midwest showroom, distribution, and sales operations in the Wood Dale facility.

Heidolph Instruments GmbH & CO. KG, founded in 1938, is a manufacturer of premium laboratory equipment. The company is based in Germany, and it will operate its North American headquarters in Wood Dale, also coordinating its sales and customer support activities.

“These two companies are relocating into one of DuPage County's premier business locations,” said Wood Dale Director of Community Development Ed Cage. “With low DuPage tax rates, neighbors like Amazon, and easy access to community resources, you can't ask for a better site.”

The new facility is located off Illinois Route 390 with local access to O'Hare Airport and the western Chicago suburbs.
