West Virginia's Brown adds to defensive staff

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Former safety Jahmile Addae is returning to West Virginia as a coach on the defensive staff.

New West Virginia coach Neal Brown announced Addae's hiring Tuesday.

Addae spent last season as the defensive backs coach at Minnesota. He also spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Arizona. Addae was a four-year starter at West Virginia, graduating in 2006.

Brown also announced the hiring of Al Pogue as a defensive assistant. Pogue was the cornerbacks coach under Brown at Troy last season.

Brown will announce staff assignments at a later time.
