Polar Express train comes to Round Lake Saturday

Children and adults can take a ride on the Polar Express train to the North Pole, listen to a holiday stories and sing carols Saturday, aboard the Round Lake Area Park District Polar Express Storytime Train.

The first train runs at 11:56 a.m., and the second train runs at 1:56 p.m. Tickets are $22 per person and can be purchased at the Round Lake Area Park District Robert. W, Rolek Community Center, 814 Hart Road.

Attendees should meet at the Round Lake Metra Station on Route 134. Each train trip travels from Round Lake to Fox Lake and back. On the return trip, people will sing and have a special snack.
