'Tis the Season of Service to our military Heroes

Standing Tall in the service to the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces is a year-round effort by Deerfield based United Relief Foundation, and 'Tis the Season of Service campaign will be United Relief Foundation's first annual hope help healing for our military Heroes traditions.

United Relief Foundation's 'Tis the Season of Service tradition will commerce on at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, Veterans Day, with a hearty and healthy meal served to the Veterans residing at Inner Voice Chicago's Eddie Beard Vet House, located at 2425 West Jackson Boulevard in Chicago.

The meal and interaction are part of United Relief Foundation's Healing for Heroes Holistic - Horticultural program and includes each Eddie Beard Vet House Veteran assembling an essential personal care package with a message for another Veteran, which the Foundation shall present with a heartfelt handshake and hug on their behalf to Veterans in need.

'Tis the Season of Service campaign shall also include Standing Tall Share the Warmth efforts in the service of at least 400 Illinois and Wisconsin Veterans in need.

Eddie Beard Vet House provides housing and services for 15 Veterans as part of Inner Voice Chicago's Veterans Integration program.
