Man pleads guilty to drug charges after Hoffman Estates traffic stop

A Chicago man found with 41 plastic bags of suspected cocaine in his possession when Hoffman Estates police stopped him for a traffic violation last January pleaded guilty to drug charges Thursday.

Harvey Davis, 31, also pleaded guilty to a similar charge related to a Rolling Meadows arrest, prosecutors said.

In exchange for his guilty pleas, Davis was sentenced to a total of six years in prison. Davis, who received credit for 208 days in custody, was also ordered to pay $999 in fines.
