Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery rose 3.60 cents at $5.2020 a bushel; Dec. corn fell .40 cent at $3.66 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 8 cents at $2.9140 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was off 12.20 cents at 8.5260 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle rose .50 cent at $1.1375 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle was up .37 cent at $1.5772 a pound; Oct. lean hogs gained .67 cent at .6785 a pound.
