Grains mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 2.40 cents at $5.1860 a bushel; Sept. corn rose 4.80 cents at $3.49 a bushel; Dec. oats fell 3 cents at $2.47 a bushel while Nov. soybeans advanced 11.80 cents at 8.31 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was off .18 cent at $1.1282 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was up .80 cent at $1.5608 a pound; Oct. lean hogs rose 1.60 cents at .6115 a pound.
