Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was off .20 cent at $5.0220 a bushel; Sept. corn was up 1 cent at $3.3860 a bushel; Dec. oats fell 1 cent at $2.4220 a bushel while Sep. soybeans rose 1.60 cents at 8.3320 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up 1.94 cents at $1.1242 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained 1.35 cents at $1.5560 a pound; Oct. lean hogs rose .98 cent at .5638 a pound.
