Grains mixed, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was advanced 32 cents at $5.20 a bushel; Sept. corn was up 1.40 cents at $3.5460 a bushel; Dec. oats fell .40 cent at $2.4660 a bushel while Sep. soybeans was off 10.80 cents at 8.2740 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was off .77 cent higher at $1.0975 a pound; Sept. feeder cattle fell .53 cent at $1.5225 a pound; Oct. lean hogs lost .65 cent at .5555 a pound.
