Banking, finance forum planned for Sept. 20

The state of the banking industry and views on the current economy are among the topics that will be addressed at the Daily Herald Business Ledger Newsmakers' Forum on Sept. 20.

The forum will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Lisle/Naperville Hotel, 3000 Warrenville Road, Lisle.

A panel of experts will also discuss business financing and the status of mergers and acquisitions as well as other key issues and trends.

Panelists for the event are Mollie Gawronski, head of business relationship sales at BMO Harris Bank; Eric R. Lundstrom, founder and president at Focus Capital Advisors Inc; Robert Esquivel, supervisory lender relaions specialist at the U.S. Small Business Administration and Hugh McLean, partner at Rock Island Capital.

Presenting sponsors are Focus Capital Advisors Inc., Rock Island Capital and BMO Harris Bank.
