Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 17 cents at $5.6060 a bushel; Sept. corn was unchanged at $3.6600 a bushel; Sept. oats gained 3 cents at $2.574 a bushel while Sep. soybeans fell 4.4 cents at 8.7620 a bushel.

Beef and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up .05 cent at $1.0830 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained 1.13 cents at $1.5020 a pound; Oct. lean hogs rose 1.75 cents at .5627 a pound.
