Grains higher and livestock mixed

Wheat for Sept. rose 1.75 cents at 5.7000 a bushel; Sept. corn was up 1.5 cents at 3.7125 a bushel; Sept. oats gained 8.5 cents at $2.6375 bushel; while Aug. soybeans rose 4.5 cents at $8.9375 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was down .25 cent at $1.0982 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose .8 cent at 1.5065 a pound; while Aug. lean hogs dropped 1 cent at $.5480 a pound.
