Copeland Manor school year ends with Field Day

Field Day marks the end of the school year at Copeland Manor Elementary in Libertyville.

Students participated in a variety of games and activities throughout the day, with the Copeland Family Association providing hot dogs for lunch.

Kids had 13 stations they rotated through. Activities included water races, slack lining, a team building game called channel, bowling, musical chairs and more.

Parents volunteered their time to man the stations.

"It's a traditional end-of-the-year activity," Principal Lori Poelking said.
