Grains mostly higher and livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery gained 9.50 cents at $5.37 a bushel; May corn rose 3.20 cents at $3.9860 a bushel; May oats was unchanged at $2.3620 a bushel while May soybeans was up .60 cent at $10.2960 bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 1.76 cents at $1.0678 a pound; April feeder cattle was up 2.02 cents at $1.4110 a pound; April lean hogs was off .98 cent at .6660 a pound.
