Australia's A-League: Melbourne sides into semifinals

SYDNEY (AP) - Both Melbourne teams in Australia's A-League have advanced to the semifinals.
On Sunday, the Melbourne Victory beat Adelaide 2-1 to advance to a semifinal against Sydney FC in Sydney. Kosovo international Besart Berisha scored the winner for the Victory on an overhead kick in the 89th minute.
Berisha leapt into the air, despite Jordan Elsey's close attention, to score the winner from Kosta Barbarouses' cross.
Melbourne City, which beat Brisbane 2-0, will play Newcastle next Friday in Newcastle.
First-place Sydney and second-place Newcastle had first-round playoff byes.
