Wyoming Cowgirls lose to Nevada 67-63

LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Wyoming Cowgirls fell to Nevada 67-63 in the Mountain West Conference tournament at Las Vegas Wednesday night.

Wyoming coach Joe Legerski says Nevada made an extra play that the Cowgirls (21-10) were not able to make.

He says his team started trying too hard to make things happen rather than just let the game come to it.

Taylor Rusk led Wyoming with a team-high 15 points while shooting 7-12 from the field. Marta Gomez followed with 13 points off the bench, while senior Liv Roberts had nine points and a game-high eight rebounds.

The Wolf Pack (17-15) were led by T Moe and Teige Zeller with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
