Elk Grove Township seeking applicants for vacant trustee seat

Elk Grove Township is accepting applications to fill a vacated trustee seat.

Andrea Koshaba resigned her position in late February, citing health, work and family issues. The township is seeking residents to apply to complete the term ending in May 2021.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, March 23. Applicants must be available to meet with the township board after 5 p.m. Monday, April 2, to be considered.

Under state law, the person appointed to fill the vacancy must be a member of the same political party as the outgoing trustee. Koshaba was a Republican.

The required applicant information can be emailed, faxed, mailed or delivered to Elk Grove Township. Application materials can be emailed to Administrator Paul Pioch at PPioch@elkgrovetownship.com, faxed to (847) 437-0434, attention: Paul Pioch, mailed to, or delivered in person to Elk Grove Township, 2400 S. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
