Grains mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was advanced 11.20 cents at $4.8340 a bushel; March corn was up 2.40 cents at $3.74 bushel; March oats fell 4 cents at $2.60 a bushel while March soybeans rose 3.80 cents at $10.49 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was off 4.25 cents at $1.2360 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 1.30 cents at $1.4485 a pound; April lean hogs lost 1.93 cents at $.6727 a pound.
