Grains mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was fell 2.40 cents at $4.54 a bushel; March corn was off 1.20 cents at $3.6640 bushel; March oats was down 6.40 cents at $2.6720 a bushel while January soybeans gained 4 cents at $10.18 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was up .82 cent at $1.2850 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 1.22 cents at $1.4910 a pound; February lean hogs were off 3.13 cents at $.7035 a pound.
