Wyoming signs another to its 2018 recruiting class

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming has added to its 2018 recruiting class by signing a defensive tackle from California.

Mario Mora of Charter Oak High School in Covina, California, was the only new member of the class signed Wednesday.

Mora joins 20 others who signed in the early signing period just before Christmas.

Coach Craig Bohl says he's pleased with the class and he believes it addressed a lot of the team's needs.

Mora is listed at 6-foot-3, 255 pounds. During his high school career, he had 97 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, nine sacks and 19 quarterback hurries.

He was also recruited by Air Force, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada and San Jose State.

This year's class includes two athletes from Wyoming: offensive linemen Blayne Baker of Sheridan and Frank Crum of Laramie.
