Tennis star attends Super Bowl with fan after losing bet

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) - Canadian tennis star Genie Bouchard jokes on her twitter feed that she's not making any more Super Bowl bets.

She showed up at Sunday's game with University of Missouri student John Goehrke after losing a wager. During last year's game, with the Falcons holding a big lead over the Patriots, Bouchard tweeted that she "knew Atlanta would win." Goehrke then asked her to go on a date if the Patriots somehow ended up winning and in what must have seemed like a low-risk reply, Bouchard said, "sure."

They were first spotted together last February at a Nets-Bucks game. Then NFL Canada sent the two to this year's Super Bowl, where they posed in Patriots gear before New England fell to the Eagles. Bouchard tweeted, "No bets for me tonight haha."
