K. Hovnanian Homes stays in step with today's style

In Chicago and throughout the suburbs, K. Hovnanian Homes offers new houses that are delightfully designed and built to be lived in. And right now, the builder has several new housing options for those looking to take advantage of the spring homebuying season.

On Saturday, Feb. 17, K. Hovnanian Homes is celebrating the grand opening of a new decorated model of the Ontario at Parkside of Libertyville. Two additional homes - the Huron and Erie - are staged and available for home-shoppers to tour, as well. Parkside of Libertyville's townhouses offer rowhouse-style architecture with an urban flair. Homes have 2,110 to 2,550 square feet of living space, two or three bedrooms, 2½ baths and attached two-car garages. Base prices start from the mid $400,000s.

In Mundelein, the builder soon will unveil its newest community, Maple Hill. The neighborhood features 63 upscale single-family homes within Fremont Elementary District 79. A total of five floor plans, including a ranch design, are available. For more information, guests can visit the sales center at nearby Orchard Meadows where one quick move-in home remains, priced from the mid $300,000s.

With a long tradition of building new homes in the Fox Valley, K. Hovnanian Homes recently debuted The Estates of Fox Chase in the heart of Oswego. Here, quaint small town charm meets everyday conveniences, and recreational amenities are never more than a few minutes away. The community also is within Oswego Community Unit School District 308. The five floor plans offer three or four bedrooms, two or 2½ baths, and two- or three-car garages for base prices that start from upper $200,000s. A ranch is available for those who prefer the convenience of single-level living.

K. Hovnanian Homes also recently grand opened Tramore in Naperville. This intimate neighborhood nestled around a cul-de-sac features just 32 duplexes, base priced from the mid $300,000s. In addition to offering three or four bedrooms and 2½ baths, these attached homes have the benefit of a maintenance-free setting and are located within highly acclaimed Indian Prairie Unit District 204.

Two additional K. Hovnanian communities are in Naperville: the Villas at Trafford Place and Heatherfield, both located along 75th Street. Only two quick move-in homes remain at the Villas of Trafford Place. They have 2,426 to 2,542 square feet of space, three bedrooms - including first-floor owner's suites - 2½ baths, and are priced from the lower $500,000s. At Heatherfield, executive single-family homes boast 2,833 to 4,897 square feet of living space and are priced from the mid $600,000s. Eight plans are available, including a ranch with three bedrooms and 2½ baths. The two-story designs come with four or five bedrooms and 2½ to 5½ baths. All are filled with the high quality appointments and designer finishes today's luxury buyers demand.

In addition to its new communities, K. Hovnanian Homes has opened new phases at Hanover Estates in Manhattan and Sagebrook in South Elgin.

At Hanover Estates, K. Hovnanian offers two series of homes for a total of eight floor plans. Homes in the Classic Series range in size from 2,448 to 3,308 square feet while those in the Traditional Series range from 2,498 to 3,635 square feet. Each two-story has four bedrooms and 2½ baths, while the ranch has three bedrooms and two full baths. Nine single-family home designs are available at Sagebrook, giving homebuyers a vast selection of housing styles from which to choose. Base priced from the lower $300,000s, Sagebook homes have 2,255 to 3,478 square feet of living space, two to four bedrooms and 2½ baths. Several plans have three-car garages, as well. Sagebrook falls within the St. Charles school district and is near the bustling Randall Road corridor.

Finally, K. Hovnanian opened a new model last fall at its premier Chicago property, Sauganash Glen. Located in the city's Sauganash neighborhood, the community is near I-94 and just blocks from shopping, Sauganash Elementary School and Sauganash Park and Trail. More than half the community's homes already have been sold. Buyers still can choose from six designs, ranging in size from 3,852 to 4,342 square feet and priced from the upper $700,000s. These sophisticated three-story designs offer urban appeal with five bedrooms, 3½ baths, a high level of interior finishes and upscale architectural accents.
