Grains higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery gained 4.80 cents at $4.3340 a bushel; March corn rose 2 cents at 3.5640 a bushel; March oats was up .40 cent at $2.76 a bushel while January soybeans advanced 13.20 cents at $9.9860 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was up .67 cent at $1.2560 a pound; January feeder cattle fell .72 cent at $1.4778 a pound; February lean hogs rose 1.35 cents at $.7353 a pound.
