Indiana Democratic Sen. Donnelly calls on Franken to resign

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly has joined a growing chorus of Democrats calling on Minnesota Sen. Al Franken to resign.

Donnelly said in a statement Wednesday that his fellow Democrat's "conduct and behavior are unacceptable and he should resign."

Franken has been accused of forcibly kissing or groping numerous women. He faces a Senate Ethics Committee investigation that arose from those allegations. His office issued a statement saying he'll make an announcement Thursday.

Donnelly's statement comes after numerous Democratic women in the Senate called on Franken to step down. Several Democratic men in the Senate also called on Franken to resign.
