Davis-White to headline Stars On Ice tour post-Olympics

NEW YORK (AP) - Top U.S. skaters, including 2014 Olympic ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, will headline Stars On Ice's tour after the Winter Olympics.

Davis and White have not competed since winning at Sochi, but remain among figure skating's most popular show acts.

They will be joined on the 22-city tour by their successors as U.S. ice dance champs, siblings Maia and Alex Shibutani; 2017 men's national titlist Nathan Chen and women's winner Karen Chen; and 2016 world silver medalist Ashley Wagner.

Other skaters will be invited after the Pyeongchang Games in February.

The tour begins April 6 in Fort Myers, Florida, and ends May 20 in Portland, Oregon.

Stars On Ice was founded by Scott Hamilton in the mid-1980s. Along with Hamilton, some of its regulars have been Kristi Yamaguchi, Katarina Witt, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, and Evan Lysacek, all Olympic champions.
