Iowa women's coach Lisa Bluder reaches 700-win plateau

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Iowa coach Lisa Bluder won her 700th game on Friday in her 34th season as a head coach.
The Hawkeyes (1-0) beat Quinnipiac 83-67 to give Bluder her milestone victory.
Bluder, who started her head-coaching career at Drake, began her 18th season at Iowa on Friday. She has won 344 games with the Hawkeyes while leading them to 12 NCAA Tournament appearances and 10 20-win seasons.
