Gymnast Simone Biles to speak at Willow Creek this weekend

Editor's note: This story has been corrected to state that Simone Biles will speak at the 9 a.m. service Sunday.

She tumbled, vaulted and flipped her way to a U.S. record four gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and this weekend Simone Biles will be at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington sharing her story.

Biles, 19, will speak about her life during services at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and during 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services Sunday. Biles recently wrote a book called "Courage to Soar," about her life growing up in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas, through her inspiring victories last year and all the trials she endured along the way.

Biles, who was announced Wednesday as a contestant on the next edition of the popular TV show "Dancing with the Stars," was invited to speak at Willow Creek as part of the megachurch's "Inspire Everyone, Always" message.

Those who can't attend can tune in to WillowCreek.tv. Additional information can be found at
