Homeowners rule at Old House New House Show in St. Charles

More than 250 businesses share decorating trends, designs and more this weekend at the Old House New House Show at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.

Attendees can pick up a map to navigate through the attractions, which will be spread throughout the Mega Center, ballroom and main hotel. Organizers are even utilizing hallways and lobbies.

The show opened Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday. Lou Manfredini from WGN's Mr. Fix-It Show will be on hand, and Sunday includes Decorating Style School that features a DIY Playbook.

The show, which runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, will include green/eco-friendly vendors and just about anything a homeowner would need.

A portion of the show's proceeds benefits Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley/ReStore Elgin.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for adults 62 and older. Kids 18 and younger are free. Visit kennedyproductions.com.
