Images: Chicago Bears battle to the end in loss to Tennessee Titans
Chicago Bears fans watched in anticipation as the Bears drove the ball to the 7-yard line with less than a minute to play to tie the game against the Tennessee Titans. But once again, the team disappointed their followers and lost the game 27-21 at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday.
Fourth string quarterback Matt Barkley surprised the crowd throwing for 316 yards on 28/54 passing and scoring 3 TD's but it was 2 interceptions in the red zone during the first half that hurt the Bears chances.
Titans' Marcus Mariota used precision passing to pick apart the Bears' defense in the first half while also showing his athleticism by running for big yardage.
Four-year veteran Barkley made his first NFL start with starter Jay Cutler inactive with a shoulder injury and two other quarterbacks, Brian Hoyer and Connor Shaw, on injured reserve.
