Images: #TBT Gallery looks back at plays
For our weekly TBT Gallery, we take a look back at plays, mostly from suburban high schools in the 1970s and '80s. Plays like "Up the Down Staircase," which, according to NPR, was the fifth most popular high school play in the 1970s.
Also popular in the '70s and '80s, was the "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "Play it Again, Sam".
Musicals such as "Oklahoma!" and "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Bye Bye Birdie" have remained popular through the years and in high schools.
