Schaumburg Business Association hears election analysis

The Schaumburg Business Association on Wednesday hosted a lunch forum on last week's election, with Daily Herald columnist Kerry Lester and Northern Illinois University Professor Matt Streb dissecting the results.

The two talked about the polls, the national outcome and how the suburbs have shifted to vote more Democratic in recent years, as well as the gains Republicans made in the Illinois legislature and how that might affect the state's budget impasse and 2018 governor's race. The event was at Chandler's in Schaumburg.
