Chicago Cubs set World Series Game 3 lineup

The Chicago Cubs' World Series lineup for Game 3 keeps Jorge Soler in right field rather than Jason Heyward.

With the designated hitter position not in play in the National League ballpark, Kyle Schwarber moves to the bench and a pinch-hitting role against the Cleveland Indians at Wrigley Field on Friday night.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon has tweaked the order slightly, however, from Game 2. Maddon has moved catcher Willson Contreras up two spots to fifth tonight, and moved Soler ahead of Javier Baez, who batted sixth in Game 2 in Cleveland.

Cubs batting order:

1.) Dexter Fowler, center field

2.) Kris Bryant, third base

3.) Anthony Rizzo, first base

4.) Ben Zobrist, left field

5.) Willson Contreras, catcher

6.) Jorge Soler, right field

7.) Javier Baez, second base

8.) Addison Russell, shortstop

9.) Kyle Hendricks, pitcher
