Donate coats and winter clothes in Batavia

The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation held its 31st annual Autumn Craft and Vendor Show Oct. 15 at Batavia High School. More than 700 shoppers came through the doors to enjoy more than 100 crafters and vendors, the ever-popular bake sale, a charity raffle, the 50/50 raffle, and lunch served by Jimmy John's.

The club appreciates the support of the sponsors of this community event especially the platinum sponsors: Apollo Development & Investment, The Chiropractic People, WOW 1 Day Painting, as well as all of the additional sponsors and in-kind donors. The Autumn Craft & Vendor Show is its largest fundraiser. Proceeds from the show are distributed to local charities whose work improves the lives of children and families in our community.

The members are currently busy with the Annual Winter Coat and Clothing Drive which ends Friday, Oct. 28.

They are collecting new or clean, gently used coats and winter clothing of all sizes to support those in need in our local community.

Drop-off bins are located around Batavia including Batavia public schools, Batavia Public Library, Batavia Park District Civic Center, Immanuel Lutheran, Meadow View Veterinary Clinic, and Batavia Nursery School.
