COD Foundation Scholarship Reception Celebrates Recipients and Donors
During the annual Scholarship Reception, student Meg Houser expressed her gratitude to the College of DuPage Foundation for awarding her the Troy Scholarship for Nursing.
"My mentor, Professor Dilyss Gallyot, told me that I don't have to do this, I get to do this," said Houser (Wheaton), who will complete her Associate Degree in Nursing at the end of 2017. "This award helps me get to do this. It's something I'll always remember."

Sherman Neal, president of the COD Foundation Board, thanked the donors for their continued support and their confidence in the College's students, with more than $400,000 provided for student scholarships to more than 600 students.
"Through your kindness, students can achieve their goals and impact their community," he said.
Dr. Ann Rondeau, President of College of DuPage, said it was a night of gratitude.
"Walking into College of DuPage is a step toward tomorrow," she said. "You're making an investment in us by investing in people."
