Save-A-Pet's Tuxedo for Tails gala is Nov. 5

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available for Save-A-Pet's 30th Annual Tuxedo for Tails Gala Event slated to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove. The event supports the mission of Save-A-Pet, a nonprofit organization that rescues dogs and cats and also operates a full-time adoption center in Grayslake.

The Arboretum Club is at 401 W. Half Day Road, Buffalo Grove.

The gala event will feature cocktails/wine, passed appetizers, a plated dinner and delicious dessert. Entertainment will include a live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, a wine pull and surprise giveaways. This marquee event commemorates 44 years of saving the lives of thousands of dogs and cats throughout the Chicago area, while raising critical funds for the agency's mission.

Single tickets are $125, tables are $1,000 and various sponsorships are available, all of which can be purchased via Save-A-Pet's website at www.saveapetil.org. Proceeds from the Tuxedos for Tails gala will directly fund all animal-related expenses at Save-A-Pet, including, but not limited to, rescue services, resident intake, medical/rehabilitative care and facility maintenance. Tickets and sponsorships are tax deductible up to the value of the donation.

Save-A-Pet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and has saved more than 60,000 animals, and expanded thousands of families with the love of an adopted pet. Relying solely on donor generosity, Save-A-Pet is one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County and costs more than $1.5 million per year to operate.
