Sand Lake Road closure
The Lake County Division of Transportation will close Sand Lake Road to through traffic from Route 132 to Valley Drive in Lindenhurst for a culvert repair. The road closure and detour will begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2. The road is scheduled to reopen to traffic the evening of Thursday, Nov. 3. The emergency closure is necessary to replace the culvert under Sand Lake Road, east of Route 132 and west of Valley Drive. The detour route is Route 132 to Route 45 to Sand Lake Road.
