Gigi's Playhouse Chicago location celebrates expansion
GiGi's Playhouse Chicago will host a grand re-opening celebration Sunday for its newly remodeled space, which has been expanded to meet growing demand and serve more local families.
The event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3948 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, features a ceremonial ribbon cutting, tours, entertainment, refreshments, pumpkin painting and other family activities.
Founded in 2003 in Hoffman Estates, GiGi's Playhouse is the only international network of Down syndrome achievement centers, with free educational and therapeutic programs for all ages.
