Early voting begins Monday
Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins Monday, Oct. 24, at 14 early voting sites throughout the Lake County. Recent changes in Illinois election law allow voters to use any of the early voting sites regardless of where they live and to choose a site that's close to home, work, or along the way. Visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on the "November 8 Election" icon to see a complete list of locations, hours, and dates. Some early voting sites offer extended evening and weekend hours. All early voting sites will also offer grace voter registration, allowing citizens to update their voter registration record or register for the first time. (847) 377-2400.
