Gather round the campfire for 'Scary Stories in the Woods'

Register now for the "Scary Stories in the Woods" program from 8 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Creek Bend Nature Center in St. Charles.

Join the Forest Preserve District of Kane County and the St. Charles Public Library for this fun-filled evening program where storytellers will entertain families with spooky tales and suspenseful stories around the campfire.

This free program is for children in third grade and older, accompanied by adults. Advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to sign up.

The center is located in LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.
