Scary Lake County
Wauconda Township Historical Society presents "Scary Lake County" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Cook House, 711 N. Main St., Wauconda. From ghosts to gangsters, Lake County's past is filled with scary folks and tales of woe. Hear the curious and often true stories that will haunt and sometimes amuse you from Diana Dretske from the Lake County Discovery Museum. Admission is $5 for adults and kids are free. House tours will be offered after the presentation.
