Get your order in for annual Corned Beef Sale

Congregation Kneseth Israel in Elgin is sponsoring its annual corned beef sale on Thursday, Nov. 17.

Quarter-pound kosher corned beef or turkey sandwiches are for sale. Sandwiches can be purchased on gluten-free bread. The lunch includes chips, kosher dill pickle, and a brownie.

A portion of profits goes to the Elgin Community Crisis Center and Mazon, the Jewish response to hunger.

Corned beef and turkey lunches are $10; an extra pound of corned beef is $17, and an extra pickle is $1. Checks are made out to CKI Sisterhood. Orders of 10 or more sandwiches will be delivered to the Elgin area on Thursday morning. Pickup will be Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 6 to 7 p.m. or Thursday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All prepaid orders are due by Sunday, Oct. 30.
