Images: Pumpkin decorating and fall color in The Week in Pictures

Daily Herald photographers captured beautiful fall colors, Halloween costumes and lots of pumpkins in pictures taken last week. It was also an exciting week as the suburbs celebrate the Chicago Cubs and the Blackhawks start their season.

  Cassandra Montgomery, owner of Ruthella's works with a customer. Elgin Community College will had three food trucks on campus from Oct 11 2016 for National Food Truck Day. One of the trucks is operated by Cassandra Montgomery, owner of Ruthella's New Orleans Cuisine and a graduate of ECC's culinary arts and hospitality program.
