The kind of leadership we need in Congress

The recent article heading, "What kind of experience do voters want in congressional candidates?" prompts me to respond. We want the kind of experience that Raja Krishnamoorthi has.

He is a small-business owner and is well-versed in technical fields. His small-business advocacy is based on his personal experience and the knowledge he has gained interacting with other small-business owners in the district.

As our representative in Congress, he will help small businesses create jobs. Additionally, his Five-Point Working Family Agenda, includes raising the federal minimum wage, supporting the Executive Order that workers earning less than $50,000 automatically qualify for overtime pay, requiring paid maternity leave for all women in the workforce, responding to worker or family members medical needs by the ability to earn up to seven days of paid sick leave annually and expanding the federal child tax credit to help working families.

Raja Krishnamoorthi is the kind representative this voter wants for the 8th District.
