Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber Sponsors 2016 Holiday Button Design Contest

Lake Forest, IL - October 14, 2016 - Youngsters, middle-schoolers and teenagers can fire up their imaginations and sharpen colored pencils for the Chamber's annual holiday-themed button design contest for the 2016 holiday season.

Students in grades 1-12 are all eligible to enter the competition and are encouraged to submit a design which will culminate in the selection of 3 winners, all of whom will receive prizes of Chamber gift certificates.

Entrants should create their holiday or winter-themed design on paper as a 5 inch

in diameter circle and deliver it to the Chamber office by Wednesday, November 2, 2016.

The first place winner's design will appear on the next in a collector's series of pin-on buttons to be distributed at the Lake Forest tree lighting ceremony in Market Square and throughout the holiday season at stores in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. The winning design will also be featured in the Chamber's holiday promotions.

Contest applications are being distributed through all area schools and can also be obtained through the Chamber office.
