Rally care driver in Grayslake

A high-performance rally car driver will be the featured speaker Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum. The free lecture by resident John Smiskol will begin at 7 p.m. at the museum, 164 Hawley St. in downtown Grayslake. Smiskol is expected to describe his experiences as a navigator and driver in high-speed automotive performance rallies. Smiskol participated in rallies from 1962 to 1982, and revisited the sport from 1998 to 2004.
