Russo Power Equipment family members, staff and vendors were joined by the Elgin Area Chamber, City Manager Rick Kozal and city councilpersons Terry Gavin and Rose Martinez in a ribbon cutting ceremony at their newest retail store in Elgin. Located on Randall Road, the 118,000 square foot building carries a variety of outdoor equipment, supplies and tools for commercial and residential use.
The Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored a chamber before hours hosted by New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church & Preschool 910 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Pastor Andrew Bauer provided a pesentation and breakfast was catered by chamber member Eggshells of Lake Zurich.
The Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting celebration at Lacey's Place 890 S. Rand Road, Unit B, Lake Zurich. Owner Jess Lowe, with her mom and dad, were welcomed by Mayor Tom Poynton and fellow chamber member business owners.

The Oswego Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated Oswego Wellness opening in downtown Oswego with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort held a ground-breaking ceremony for the dealership's building expansion, which will include the addition of quick lube bays in the service department, as well as additional financing offices and accounting offices. Phillips Chevrolet President Curtis Pascarella and General Manager Michael Maheras were joined by General Motors Chicago District Manager Mike Bishop, as well as Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland and trustees Cynthia Corso Heath, Robert J. Kennedy, Keith Ogle, R. Douglas Walker and Mike Stevens.
Riganato Old World Grille won the Lencioni Best Presentation Award during the Festival of the Vine, hosted by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. Michael Lencioni, left, son of Chuck Lencioni, presented the award to owner Jimmy Nicolaou. Riganato Old World Grille, 700 E. State St., was one of 23 restaurants participating in the festival.

Brainstorm Startups Inc. celebrated the opening of its new business at 18 E. Dundee Road, Building 5 in Barrington, with the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and leaders from the Village of Barrington. The company was launched by Chicago area entrepreneurs and small business owners Tom Drapinski and Tony Jacobs, with a goal of assisting other entrepreneurs in starting or growing their business.
