MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota center Reggie Lynch has undergone surgery on his left knee.

Coach Richard Pitino announced Friday that the operation that will take Lynch about a month to recover from. That ought to give the junior enough time to be ready for the regular season opener on Nov. 11 against Louisiana-Lafayette.
