Lakers sign well-traveled F Thomas Robinson before camp

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - The Los Angeles Lakers have signed veteran forward Thomas Robinson.

The Lakers announced the deal Wednesday.

Robinson played for five teams in his first four NBA seasons, averaging 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game over his career. He spent last season with Brooklyn, starting seven games in 71 appearances.

Robinson was the fifth overall pick in the 2012 draft by Sacramento. He also has played for Houston, Portland and Philadelphia.
