Girls golf: Prospect finishes 9-2 in MSL duals
Prospect's girls golf team finished 9-2 in the Mid-Suburban League after a 161-122 victory over Elk Grove at the Mount Prospect Golf Club on Wednesday.
Knights senior Sabrina Accardi earned medalist honors with a 38 on the par-35 layout. She was followed by teammates Mary Shafer (40), Kate Ponzi (41) and Delaney Halloran (42).
Senior Amy Carpenter paced the Grenadiers with a 49. Conant 170
Conant d. Hoffman Estates: Michelle Zhang was medalist for Conant in a 170-227 MSL victory at Fox Run. The next three scorers for the Cougars were Tida Bowers (41), Priyana Kumar (46) and Ciara O'Malley (46).
Leading Hoffman Estates was Christina Wood with a 49.
